Mandatory Ship Reporting Systems
Circular No 22/99
TEN 1/5
TEN 32/12/4
28 September 1999
To all Owners, Managers and Operators of Ships flying the Cyprus Flag
It has been brought to our attention that a number of Cyprus ships have violated the IMO established Mandatory Ship Reporting System in the Great Belt Traffic (GBT) area.
Failing to report to the GBT, as well as to the other mandatory Ship Reporting Systems, constitutes a violation of the provisions of regulation V/8-1(h) of SOLAS 1974, as amended. Therefore, we urge you to advise your Masters to always comply with the above mentioned requirements.
