Application for Document of Safe Manning for ships other than Passenger ships.

To all Owners, Managers and representatives of ships under Cyprus flag

With reference to the above subject and to our circular No. 1/98 dated 15.01.1998, I wish to inform you that in order to improve our services, you are requested to forward to this Office the following, whenever you apply for the issuance of a Document of Safe Manning:

  1. Application for Document of Safe Manning duly completed (as per form attached herewith)
  2. Copy of the previous Cyprus Document of Safe Manning.
  3. Confirmation of Class IF the ship has unattended engine room.

Please note that upon receipt of the new Document of Safe Manning, you should return to this office the one previously issued to the ship.
